V. Prerequisites: STH 263: Intermediate Motion Capture with a grade of C or better.

VIII. Catalog Description: A lab-based computer class dealing with the principles of Motion Capture Performance and Motion Capture Production. for use in Virtual Theatricality, Motion Pictures, Gaming, and Motion Studies. This course is the final sequence in the Henry Ford Community College Motion Capture Course Sequence.
IX. Goal Statement: To prepare students for entry level positions as Motion Capture session technicians in the theater, film, and entertainment industries.

Major Core Course Objectives
Students who successfully complete this course should be able to:
Conduct Motion Capture sessions of multiple speaking characters using body, face, and hands, and props.
Successfully map all captured data to characters in MotionBuilder.
Clean and edit data.
Deliver a final product that is a complete dramatic entity.*
Detailed Course Objectives
Students who successfully complete this course should be able to:
Demonstrate dramatic and story-telling elements through Motion Capture.
Cooperate with a wide variety of artists and media personnel including directors, 3D modelers, engineers, actors, and producers.
Plan and complete an entire Motion Capture project from Previsualization to final product.
XI. Assessment of Academic Achievement
Successful Internship for a local Professional Motion Capture Company.

A substantial contribution to the Motion Capture effects for an HFCC Virtual Theatricalty Production.
OR
A major project at the HFCC Virtual Theatricality Lab Motion Capture Studio.
