Virtual Theatricality News
In 2007, LAND (Liberal Arts Network Development) awarded the VTL the Best Innovation Award. The VTL was invited back this year to be a key presenter at the LAND conference. On February 21, 2008, VTL team members Dr. George Popovich, Lori Przyblo, Brian Johnson, and Alan Contino demonstrated VTL Mo-Cap and stereoscopic techniques to representatives from over 60 Michigan Community Colleges. The VTL team transported its mobile demo Mo-Cap and stereoscopic units to the conference so conference members could experience first-hand the immersive and interactive components of the VTL's digital stagecraft. The LAND conference was held at Michigan State University.
